Why do Electronic Specialists prices seem to be high ?
Often, in computer stores or mail order catalogs, a cheap, low performance suppressor is used to introduce their suppressor line. Sometimes units priced at $275 are used as bait. Although such a unit may have a 1,000 or 2,500 surge amp suppressor, about all you get is an inferior extension cord.
Once you get into the $30 - $40 units, you are starting to get 30,000 or 40,000 surge amp suppression, often coupled with an interference filter.
Our minimum level suppressor provides 58,500
surge amp suppression and is coupled with an interference filter equivalent to
filtration offered on most hi-end protection units. A similar comparison can be made to
our modem protection systems.
Price comparison on this basis now are seen to be "in line".
Indeed, based on filtering & suppression characteristics,
our prices appear to be on the low side.
