Custom designed Pneumatic AC Power Interrupters were announced today by Electronic Specialists.

Pressure, Vacuum or Differential Interrupter switching can be accommodated, with threshold to be specified

Normally "ON", normally "OFF" or "Toggle" configurations are offered. 

Feasible operational designs include: single socket / single sensor;   single sensor / multiple sockets;
multiple sensors / single socket with each sensor; multiple sensors / variable sockets count for each sensor.

Integral surge suppression and electrical interference filter protection are additional options.

Electronic Specialists announces redesign of their popular Model PDS-11 Modem protection and data transfer speed-up system to provide an "x2" dual modem version accommodating the latest  high speed 56K, bonding,  Modem Doubler, Dual Modem and Shotgun Modem technology.

Enhanced 4 stage spike suppression and RFI interference filtering are combined to promote reliable, high speed modem data transmission, while also protecting connected computing equipment.

Fast response, high current dual semiconductor suppression networks provide both common mode and differential mode equipment protection.

Inter-stage suppressor buffering is incorporated to increase overall system speed and protector reliability.

Both incoming phone leads are fused, further adding protection and reliability to modem and connected equipment.

Interaction between computer system and home entertainment center are eliminated

Electronic Specialists announce introduction of their Extreme Duty family of heavy equipment protection systems. This new design is intended for installations such as Well pumps, Sewage movers, Irrigation systems, Conveyors, Water / lock / sluice gate controllers and other remotely controlled motorized equipment.

Extreme Duty units presently available operate on 125, 250 or 125/250 Volt power systems and will accommodate 15, 20 or 30 Amp loads. Designed for series installation between power line and load, Extreme Duty Protection incorporates heavy duty surge fusing to further reduce connected equipment damage risk.

Protection capabilities range from 136,500 Surge Amps (1,680 joules) for 125 Volt,
15 Amp units to 253,500 Surge Amps (3,120 joules) for 125/250 Volt, 30 Amp product.
All models incorporate multiple 1 picosecond suppression to protect against sub-nanosecond spikes originating from thyristor controlled equipment.

EXTEND UPS OPERATION DEEP INTO BROWN-OUT ZONE

Electronic Specialists' Regulator/Isolator/Power Conditioner has been specifically
redesigned to extend UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) operation into the Deep
Brown-out Zone. This ehnanced Regulator/Conditioner provides normal level
equipment operating voltage even when the incoming AC Power has browned-out to
a dismal 90 volts. Normally, a UPS will switch to internal battery when the incoming
Power drops to 105 volts. When connected to the Regulator/Conditioner, the UPS
will not switch to internal battery until the incoming AC Power drops below 90 volts.

Deep Brown-out electrical power is accompanied by large, damaging spikes and
severe, disruptive interference. A robust 58,500 Surge Amp, high speed Spike
suppressor has been incorporated to combat the spike threat. Front end RFI filtering,
coupled with transformer interference filtering, ensure smooth Brown-out zone operation.

Power Reglulator/Conditioners are sized to accommodate 125 watt to 2500 watt
loads, providing extended range protection for applications from Point-Of-Sale
systems to high speed copiers.

Models are available for 125 volt, 250 volt and 125/250 volt operation.

List prices start at U.S.$315 for a 125 Volt, 125 Watt Regulator/Conditioner.
